The Story Behind the Numbers
One Church at Bethel’s Family embraces the idea that “God is in the blessing business.” It is a theological affirmation that emphasizes God’s active, intentional involvement in the well-being, provision, and flourishing of God’s people and creation. It reflects the belief that God is not passive or distant, but continually at work extending grace, favor, and opportunity for growth—spiritually, relationally, and materially—in accordance with God’s will and purpose. Embracing the aforementioned idea, we pause to remember and honor the sacred foundation upon which One Church at Bethel’s Family was established.
The Capital Campaign
Introduction to the Proposed 2026-2029 Budget
The 2026 budget was developed collaboratively by church leadership across Finance, Personnel, Operations, Worship, Missions, and Pastoral Care. Each division evaluated projected program needs, staffing requirements, facility demands, and historical financial performance to ensure alignment with operational capacity.
Family, today we stand at a defining moment in our church’s history. For years, we have built ministries that transform lives. But debt limits how far we can go. It slows vision. It restricts expansion. It diverts resources from impact. We are launching a 3-year, $10 million Capital Campaign to eliminate all existing debt and position our church for the future.
The Power of the Capital Campaign
If 3,000 members commit to giving just $21 per week ($3 a day) in addition to their normal tithe, we can generate over $9 million in three years. Imagine a church with no debt. Imagine resources fully directed to families, children, outreach, and expansion. Imagine freedom. Jerusalem’s walls were rebuilt because God’s people had a mind to work. Now it’s our time.
